5.8GHz Wireless Night Vision Surveillance Camera

Annoyed by the radio interferences during wireless transmission? Why not step up in frequency and experience the increase in signal clarity with the 5.8GHz technology. 5.8 GHz frequency band is less trafficked than 2.4 GHz or other bands, and is therefore less prone to interference. 5.8 GHz offers better range, stability and far less chance of interception.

This is a turnkey wireless infrared surveillance camera for round the clock surveillance. The transmitter, the cam, the infrared lights and an auto-switch 100~240VAC regulated power supply are all built inside a aluminum weatherproof housing. No hassle for expensive and messy wiring. Through the built-in powerful 1,000 mW transmitter, video signal is sent wirelessly to the included receiver. You can then view the color video live or record it on a recorder, computer or other recording device.                        



Weather-proof housing: A high quality color infrared CCD cam is built inside a weather-proof aluminum enclosure suitable for outdoor installation. Housing dimensions: 34(L) x 14(W) x 11.5(H) cm (13.4" x 5.5" x 4.5").

High resolution IR camera: High resolution 1/3" SONY super HAD 520 TV line CCD image sensor produces excellent color video in the day and automatically turns to B/W mode in the night.

Long range transmitter: The built-in 1,000 mW long range transmitter sends wirelessly color video to the remote receiver, which can be connected to TV, monitor, VCR, DVR, computer or other viewing/recording device.

Transmission range: The package comes with two high gain omni-directional antennas for the cam and the receiver. The antennas are detachable so that you may change to other high gain antennas if you need more range. Range may vary substantially depending on the actual operating environment. Line of sight range up to 1,000 feet (330 meters) using high gain omni-directional antennas of 12dBi or higher.  Longer distance up to 3 miles (5 km) can be achieved by using high gain directional antennas in a line of sight environment. For example, from a mountain top to another mountain top, from an outlying island to the seashore, from a building to another building across the street and so forth. AV signal can travel through some obstructions such as wall, partition, tree and so forth but in this case, the transmission distance will be reduced depending on the type, materials and the number of the obstructions in the transmission range.

Wireless receiver (picture on the right). Up to 16 cams represented by different channel numbers can be set up in one location without interference to one another. The included 16-channel receiver can monitor up to 16 cams. You may select on the receiver to display any one of the 16 channels at a time to view live video on your TV or other display device.

Interferences. The cam can effectively avoid radio interferences from 2.4GHz frequency band which is already crowded with applications such as microwave ovens, cordless phones, blue-tooth equipment, wireless LAN access points and so forth.

Night vision. The cam can operate in total darkness for distance up to 100 feet (30 meters). The built-in infrared LEDs turn on/off automatically when the light condition turns weak (when illumination is under 8 LUX).

Easy installation. Three simple steps to setup: (A) fix the wall mount to wall, tree, pole or so forth; (B) fix the cam to the wall mount and connect it to the AC power; and (C) connect the receiver to TV, monitor, computer or other display device. It's done.
